  • Durst Advanced Stroke Control (DASCTM).
  • Durst Advanced Print Control (DAPC TM).

Productivity

  • HS Mode: Printing speed up to 580m²/h with an inking rate of 6,5 g/m² and a resolution of 1000 x 600 dpi.
  • HQ Mode: Printing speed up to 290m²/h with an inking rate of 13 g/m² and a resolution of 1000 x 1200 dpi.

  • Kappa Ink D (Dispersion Ink System) for synthetic fibres, polyester and polyester mixtures with more than 50% polyester.
  • Kappa Ink A (Acid Ink System) for silk and silk mixtures.
  • Printing technology: Piezo Inkjet Multipass; Maximum printing width: 1950 mm

Printing system

  • Fully automatic feeding-in and guiding unit and a printing blanket with integrated washing and dryer unit.
  • Durst technology Quadro Z Array nozzles for water-based Kappa inks with fibre-resistant plate, special drying, drop size varying from 7 - 21 pl, 6144 nozzles/colour.
  • Automatic nozzle-cleaning system hot air dryer/Kappa unit (using steam, gas or electricity) for pre-fixing.
  • Different ink systems suitable for printing on materials like cotton, synthetic fibres and silk.

The latest technical developments are constantly being incorporated into Durst products. Since 1936 Durst has been responsible for pioneering better and faster methods of large format image reproduction. The company started with analogue photo technology and later moved into digital photo laser imaging. It was one of the first to develop large format inkjet printing, initially for the graphic arts market and, most recently, it successfully extended the technology to different industrial inkjet applications.

Today, the company sees itself as an industrial inkjet specialist. Its new research building in Lienz, Austria, is evidence of its commitment to both the science of inkjet printing and its pursuit of new applications for inkjet printing. Its systems have the ability to change existing markets and provide its customers with new business opportunities. The company also makes it its duty to ensure sustainable development, providing machines that are kinder to the environment and use much less ink and energy.

By optimising the performance of its printers through both physical and chemical sciences, it has succeeded in providing its customers with a competitive and profitable edge. That is why it believes that Durst is: "The industrial inkjet specialist."
