Kappa 180: High volume industrial inkjet press
Durst Phototechnik AG, Italy, which is represented by the Textile Division of CeraDecor India Ltd, offers Kappa 180, a high volume industrial inkjet press. The machine has the following features:
Durst Advanced Remote Diagnostics (DARDTM) - Monitors all relevant parameters, eg, printheads, humidity, temperature, tension and much) - more to prevent unplanned downtimes and maintenance work.
Durst Advanced Stroke Control (DASCTM).
Durst Advanced Print Control (DAPC TM).
HS Mode: Printing speed up to 580m²/h with an inking rate of 6,5 g/m² and a resolution of 1000 x 600 dpi.
HQ Mode: Printing speed up to 290m²/h with an inking rate of 13 g/m² and a resolution of 1000 x 1200 dpi.
Colours 8 colours: CMYK + O/LM/B/LK with no modulations or density fluctuations. A key role is played here by the ink delivery system with the osmosis filtering system, which eliminates the tiny gas bubbles in the inks and ensures that the printing is constant and failure-free.
Inks The own developed Kappa Inks can be printed with absolutely environmentally friendly water-based dispersion, reactive and acid inks on the different textile fibres:
Kappa Ink R (Reactive Ink System) for cotton and cotton mixtures with more than 60% cotton.
Kappa Ink D (Dispersion Ink System) for synthetic fibres, polyester and polyester mixtures with more than 50% polyester.
Kappa Ink A (Acid Ink System) for silk and silk mixtures.
Printing technology: Piezo Inkjet Multipass; Maximum printing width: 1950 mm
Fully automatic feeding-in and guiding unit and a printing blanket with integrated washing and dryer unit.
Durst technology Quadro Z Array nozzles for water-based Kappa inks with fibre-resistant plate, special drying, drop size varying from 7 - 21 pl, 6144 nozzles/colour.
Automatic nozzle-cleaning system hot air dryer/Kappa unit (using steam, gas or electricity) for pre-fixing.
Different ink systems suitable for printing on materials like cotton, synthetic fibres and silk.
The latest technical developments are constantly being incorporated into Durst products. Since 1936 Durst has been responsible for pioneering better and faster methods of large format image reproduction. The company started with analogue photo technology and later moved into digital photo laser imaging.
